Who is Elizabeth?
Elizabeth is a multidisciplinary designer with a deep-rooted passion for creativity in all its forms. Her journey began at the renowned Kingston School of Art in London, where she studied Fashion Design. Immersed in one of the most innovative design environments in the UK, she honed her creative instincts and developed a sharp eye for detail, colour, and composition.
But even during her studies, Elizabeth’s creativity couldn’t be confined to just one discipline. Outside of her coursework, she began taking on freelance projects across illustration, print, and graphic design—balancing her academic work with real-world experience and cultivating a diverse portfolio long before graduation.
After earning her degree, Elizabeth transitioned into the fast-paced world of fashion, working with leading UK brands such as The Couture Club and ARNE. For over three years, she thrived as a fashion designer by day, while continuing to pursue freelance design projects by night—collaborating with clients who sought her unique creative perspective.
However, over time, the rigid structures and high-pressure culture of the fashion industry began to feel creatively stifling. Elizabeth found herself yearning for more freedom, more variety, and a deeper sense of purpose in her work. With that realisation came a pivotal turning point. She chose to leave behind the corporate world and take the leap into full-time freelance design.
And so, By-Elizabeth was born—a creative studio that reflects Elizabeth’s multifaceted talents, thoughtful approach to design, and her belief that great design begins with connection, care, and storytelling.
Where is Elizabeth based?
Elizabeth divides her time between two beautiful destinations: Manchester, England, and Marbella, Spain. This dual-base lifestyle allows her to collaborate with clients across the globe, bringing a fresh, international perspective to every project she takes on.
